EASY INDIAN FRY BREAD Combine following ingredients 2 cup Flour 1/2 cup powdered milk 1 Tbsp baking powder 3/4 tsp Salt 3/4 Cup lukewarm waterStir and knead dough on a floured board. Cover and let stand for 15 minutes. Cut up into 8 sections and roll out to 1 inch thick. Heat about 2 inches of oil in a Large Skillet. Watch the temperature to keep it at about 350 degrees with a thermometer. Then, with tongs, place sections of dough into the hot oil. Turn over when brown. At this point, butter and honey are great or jam, or roll in cinnamon and sugar. You can also frost with maple frosting or any flavor you desire. |
