COWBOY APPLE PIE

CRUST:
1 cup Flour
1/2 cup Butter flavored Crisco
Pinch of Salt
1/4 cup Ice Water
Flour to Knead

FILLING:
2 cups Sugar
1/4 cup Heaping Flour
1- Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
Dash Nutmeg
5 Apples, Large, peeled, and sliced

Cut Crisco into flour and salt. Add cold water and stir until a sticky ball forms. Turn out on a floured board and roll into pie-crust. Warm and oil a 12" Dutch oven. Place one crust in the bottom of the oven and put apples in the bottom. Sprinkle Cinnamon, flour, sugar and Nutmeg over apples. Place second crust on top and cut slits for steam to escape. Bake at 350 degrees using 15 coals on top and 10 on the bottom.
